The year is about to end and we’re all in the mood to celebrate and have fun. 🙌🏽

It’s that time of the year when you plan your goals for the next year and look back at your achievements throughout the year. So, you can see where you stand now and which steps are you going to take next.

And since, you should share your achievements and success with the world to inspire people like you. We took the opportunity to share our evolution in the year 2019.

2019 has been a fun-filled and happening year for us. We have taken our product, our friendships, and our company to a higher level.

Our Badges and Awards 👑

ContentStudio on Product Hunt 🥰

We started the year 2019 with an aim to launch the better and more powerful version of ContentStudio (V2) in which we totally transformed the product.

From the optimization of the features to the design of the product, everything was remodeled.

We got a huge response from our users and clients which encouraged us to expand our user-base. We launched ContentStudio V2 on Product Hunt and became the Number#1 Product of the day and #2 Product of the week (May 21, 2019) with 1.6K+ upvotes.

G2 Crowd Awards 🥰

G2, the popular software review platform which is revolutionizing the way businesses discover, compare and buy software, released its ratings and awards in May. And we were awarded a ‘High Performer Spring 2019’ badge by them.

Later, this year, G2 Crowd again reviewed ContentStudio and announced it as a Leader in Social Media Suites.

And, due to the endless efforts, sleepless nights and honorary awards, we also crossed our 50K user milestone this year.

ContentStudio 2.0 Launch

We targeted the main modules in our application during the v2 launch and succeeded in introducing the following features and improvements in our application.

Content categories

This feature was recently added to keep your content organized and help you to schedule the right type of content at the right time. This will save your time of traversing through each post individually and scheduling it by hand.

Cover stories

Cover stories are articles cherry-picked from your curated topics. This section has been created to have instant access to the best-performing articles from each curated topic.

Workspaces

Workspaces in ContentStudio is a unit for not only discovering, planning, scheduling, publishing and analyzing content for social media accounts but also grouping the people who manage those accounts together.

Social media analytics

It is essential to determine the performance of social media marketing across all social channels. Our Analytics provide a wholesome understanding of your social engagement against attributes such as posts, shares, likes, comments.

Content discovery

The new and improved Discovery has everything that a marketer needs. Use our Query Builder and our search engine to curate targeted and niche-relevant content smartly. Moreover, to discriminate quality content from substandard content, gauge the content’s metrics in our powerful Content Insights section.

Instagram & Twitter Influencers

Using this feature, you can discover top influencers in your industry on Instagram and Twitter and connect with them to do influencer marketing. You can look for your industry influencers by hashtags, username or Twitter or Instagram handles.

Mobile apps

ContentStudio has both the iOS and Android Mobile apps. Now you can discover highly targeted content either by following our curated topics or by searching for your industry in our Mobile apps’ search engine. And schedule this content on your social and blog channels.

Automation Recipes (Bulk Uploader & Evergreen)

As you all know, a busy marketer doesn’t have the time to manually plan and schedule every single post individually. For this, we have the bulk uploader automation recipe, using which you can feed your posts in bulk in ContentStudio and it will be planned for your selected social and blog channels automatically.

Evergreen automation recipe lets you re-share your best content again and again automatically. And to avoid repetition and monotonic captions, the recipe gives a variation of captions and descriptions for your post which you can choose to auto-pilot your posts but with a new voice to it, every single time it’s shared.

Composer improvements

Working with a team gets hectic if you are unable to track all the team members and their contributions toward the task. With ContentStudio’s latest version of the composer, you can easily manage your team working on different projects.

The composer shows the version history of your blog/article and you can see each member’s contribution to it and choose the best version as your final version.

Then we have advanced SEO settings for you using which you can optimize your content in the best possible way and rank your content on Google.

We have also introduced new functionality in our composer which allows you to share your content on your primary and secondary blog channels without letting the search engine mark your content as duplicate. And of course, you can also share your content on your social channels and let your audience know about your latest publications.

Chrome extension

Before the introduction of our extension, there was a limitation in content sharing to some extent. You had to either curate the content through the application or search for content against your required keywords.

Although, ContentStudio makes it feasible to curate highly targeted content by allowing you to add domains and various sources of your choice.

Nevertheless, if you still forget to add an important source that you wish to see in the application, you can easily share it using our Chrome Extension. While traversing through the web, if you like any article, simply open the extension and share it right away or even better, schedule it after thoughtful consideration.

Reporting Automation, branded reports with automation

Reporting is the quantifiable way of showing the performance of your campaigns.

With ContentStudio, you can now instantly create detailed reports for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest accounts. Determine the ROI of your social media engagement and content strategy.

You can send these reports directly to your team members and clients or schedule to send them on a regular basis automatically.

Post variations

Now, you have the ability to control the post variations while creating your automation campaigns. Whether it is RSS Automation or Article to Social Automation, you can use either use:

  1. Use Post Titles + URL
  2. Use intelligent post variation (extracted from body content) as a caption

Choose from a set of intelligently created post variations and instantly create a batch of posts.

GMB Integration

What to expect in 2020

We promise to make every year better than the previous one. And this is our motivation to meet our goals for the next year. So, some new year’s goals and resolutions have been decided for 2020 too.

Social Inbox

Our amazing team is working on the Social Inbox which is a tool that is a centralized communication channel.

I know social media could be a great distraction if you log into it even with the purpose of collaborating with your communities and audience. You start watching one funny video and then get trapped in the swamp of entertainment. Which gives birth to procrastination.

We don’t want to procrastinate and stick to your plan.

Social inbox is a platform where you connect all your social profiles, channels, and blogs and collaborate with your audience there. So, you get a notification every time someone messages you on your social profiles and groups or leaves a comment on your social posts, and you can reply to their query or comment right in the system.

With the social inbox feature you can engage with your customers, and the messages you receive across social channels, in one view. You will be able to view threaded messages associated with each conversation.

RSS Feed Reader

Most RSS feed readers would list new publications of your favorite sites, a few more will allow you to track social channels but none will empower you to curate content from the best content sources and share it on your social media.

With ContentStudio’s RSS feed reader set to release in 2020, the need for an integrated feed reader, curator and publisher will be fulfilled.

What’s coming next for integrations: Shopify, Ghost, and Youtube

We have some exciting new integrations coming your way in the next year which includes Shopify, Ghost, and Youtube integration.

We all know the numbers associated with Youtube. Literally, billions of minutes of video content are being watched every day. ContentStudio will help you scrap a piece of the pie shop on Youtube and seamlessly post SEO optimized video content.

Shopify is one of the largest cloud-based solutions aimed just to grow your business. Imagine being able to post your content in front of millions of potential clients who have enlisted the platform to do business.

Ghost is another huge blogging platform designed for publishing content. Whether you are a marketer, blogger or business, you need to post content on as many content distribution channels as possible.

Feed view in the planner

As you all know, we have a planner for all your posts. Whether they’re planned, scheduled, published, failed or under-review. You can see each type of post in the planner created for every social channel or campaign and also see which team member initiated the post and which team member reviewed it.

Currently, we have only two views for the planner. You can either view your posts in a list view or the calendar view. This is awesome but not enough if you want a smooth collaboration with your teams and clients.

We’re introducing a third view type for your posts in the planner which is the Feed View. The Feed View will allow you to view the post as it would look like on the actual social channel. This would serve two purposes.

  1. You can check how your post would look like on the social channel.
  2. You can reply to the comments on your posts as well as create a chat thread with your internal team and assign them tasks like answering to a customer’s query or noting it down as a feature request etc.
